We are experiencing a problem with completed payments through Mijireh staying marked as pending. I’ve read about this issue with other gateways as well. In a previous thread found here, the person mentioned that simply clicking into the pending transaction for further details changed the status to completed. This is happening for us as well.
The major concern with the pending transactions is that although the payment is going through, the pending transaction doesn’t change the number of tickets sold. This is causing the website admin to do a lot of babysitting to make sure the events don’t oversell when they get close to selling out, which does happen frequently.
The bug in the software with getting pending transactions to update to completed status by clicking in to the pending transaction can be duplicated each and every time, but that “fix” forces someone to literally watch the site constantly and frequently intervene to make sure all ticket sales are accounted for.
We would greatly appreciate your team looking into this issue again, or advising us as to what the problem might be. I can’t any rhyme or reason to what’s causing this to happen after studying the transaction details for a couple of months.
I forgot to add that we are running EE4 Version 4.6.25.p, and using the following add ons:
Event Espresso – Calendar (EE 4.3+)
Event Espresso – Events Table View Template (EE 4.4.9+)
Events Espresso – MailChimp (EE4.4.5+)
