when we select attendees in a class to send out a batch email, the email does not include a link back to the event they signed up for. this was standard in ee3 how do we achieve this in ee4? is it done with short code? |

Hi there,
In short, you currently can’t include event-specific shortcodes in the batch emails. The longer answer is the batch email are generated using the EE_Contact for the selected registrations, so the parser used for the shortcodes doesn’t have that information available to it. If you need to include a link back to the event you will need to hardcode that link when sending the message, meaning you would manually add the link here: https://monosnap.com/file/g22C8Gm8LvIV9q8ZLKINSAPHM6J0qv Note that means you need to trigger batch emails on a per event basis and wait for those to send before you move onto the next event (editing the section above saves the content, so if you trigger batch and then straight away move onto the next event and change the link when the first batch generates it pulls the current template and uses whatever is set).
Can you link me to an event I can view this on, please? |

so what type of emails do we use to communicate with class registrants so that they have a link back to the class they are registered in? if you visit this page you can see the funny prices |

If you are sending batch emails you’ll need to use the method above.
You’re current settings are You’ll need to set either your Decimal Mark or Thousands Separator to comthing other than a comma, you can’t use a comma for both within EE. |
