We’re trying to get our new website up and running through WordPress. We have an account with Chase and purchased the Chase Paymentech Orbital Plug-in for Event Espresso.
I know there’s been some discussion on this before: https://eventespresso.com/topic/chase-paymentech-orbital-bin-terminal-id-and-authorize-net/
Our situation is that we’ve been talking with Chase and I know we need to be certified to use the plugin. They gave us a “Technical Profile Questionnaire For Hosted Payment Solution” to fill out. We aren’t sure of the answers to these questions. Would that be something that Event Espresso knows or do you think I have to contact the company that is hosting our new website?
Questions include:
1) What Hosted Payment Solution will be used, Hosted Pay Page or Hosted Pay Form
2) List applicable Production Merchant IDs
3) List applicable test Merchant ID information
4) Will order Abstraction (uID) be used?
etc. There are three pages of questions.

Hi there,
With regards to question 1, the answer is neither because the Chase Orbital gateway add-on doesn’t support Chase’s hosted pay page or hosted pay form.
It supports only the Orbital Payment gateway.
With regards to questions 2&3, that information should be available from your merchant account. With regards to question 4, no.
The certification process required by Chase is quite involved because beyond the questionnaire they also require the completion of several test cases. The developer of the Chase Orbital Gateway offers a Chase Paymentech Certification Service where he’ll work with you and the Chase rep to get everything in order (including the test cases) You can find out more from his website:
