Changing the logo on the Stripe popup payment window

I have set my logo within the stripe control panel, but it looks as though the logo I’ve added to the Event Espresso general settings page has overwritten the Stripe-set one.

The problem here is that the logo I’ve updated to EE’s setting page is a standard, wide logo suitable for invoices, confirmation emails, etc. The logo I’ve uploaded to Stripe for the Stripe popup is a perfect circular version of the logo designed to fit in the circular area of the Stripe window.

Am I doing something wrong? How can I use both logos?

Hi there,

Do you mean the setting within the Stripe control panel under Account Settings -> General -> Public Info?

If so that’s for the receipts sent by Stripe rather than the checkout modal used within Stripe.js.

I checked into this and currently the Stripe payment method will not allow you to set a specific image to use for the checkout modal, it will always use the Logo set within the EE organization settings. I’ve created a ticket for some feedback from our developers and will add any updates to this thread.

Thanks Tony. Yes, that’s the Stripe setting I’m talking about, inside stripe’s control panel: Settingss -> General -> Public Info.

As I mentioned, if I remove the logo from the EE organization settings, the checkout modal reverts to the logo I uploaded inside Stripe. If I add a logo to the EE settings, it replaces the Stripe logo. It would be nice to be able to set a unique logo for the stripe modal, as it’s a circle and really requires a special logo to look good.

That’s odd the icon set within Stripe does not display for me even if I remove the organization logo within EE, possibly because my account is in test mode.

I’ll add these details to the ticket although I think its likely we will add a field to allow you to set image yourself within the payment method rather than Stripe.
