Hi there,

Go to Event Espresso -> Payment methods.

There you will find a list of payment methods available for your site. Any payment method that has a checkmark for the ‘Admin Registration Page’ will show within that dropdown – http://take.ms/9mNNA

If you uncheck that option for the payment methods you don’t want shown in the list your users can still select them, but the admin can not.

Is that what you are looking for?

Ah ok, I see what you mean.

The payment methods that are showing in that list also include the default ‘Admin only’ payment methods which you can not easily remove without loading your own template for the modal and filtering the current payment methods to exclude the ones you don’t want. The payment methods would still be activate you’d just skip displaying them.

EE doesn’t currently show the admin only payment methods within core, however I have previously created a snippet that pulls in all payment methods and displays them within Event Espresso -> Payment methods:

That plugin is intended to allow you to alter the text for any of the payment methods but imo should only be used to alter the text and then de-activated. The plugin itself should not cause problems, however it forces EE to display sections that you would not normally have access to.

Note the above should be considered a work around, not all of the features for all payment methods will work. De-activating admin only payment methods will not remove the payment method from the list and you may not be able to re-activate the PM if you try (which could cause further problems down the line).

Yes.

Also the dropdown menu you are referring to uses the ‘Admin Description’ field if set, if that’s not set it uses the Admin-only name.
