Hi I found this http://cl.ly/image/1p051545391h/o and changed the shortcode to [CO_EMAIL]. This didn’t help neither. When I go to “messages” and select “Event Admin” to change the message there is an email address written in “Extra actions” –> “To*:” (It’s the email address that I originally had and that I want to change). When I try to change this email address it always changes back (automatically) after I saved it. Where can I change the email address that receives the message from an event registration (Admin Message)? Thanks in advance |
The messages section you mentioned above is the correct location.
CO_EMAIL should parse to the Primary Contact Email address your mentioned above from General Settings. Do you have any custom message templates within the message system?
Under extra actions that’s to send a test email to the address you input, it should save the last email address used in that field. Does it show any errors when you send the message? |

I currently have 3 custom message templates (see images) but I can’t remember setting them up. (Some parts of the Plug-In are in German but I hope you can see the important sections) I don’t get any error message when I sign up for an event. |
Hello, You mentioned that it works if you use your existing email address instead of an alternative one. Are the emails arriving to the junk or spam folder for the other email that you are trying? If so, try setting up a free transactional email service like Mailgun or Sendgrid. A transactional email service will take over sending emails from the local email server. Here is a step by step guide for Sendgrid: https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/4677f472b012a5a88630 — |
