I’ve just launched a site that was developed in a subdirectory called management but now sits on top level. When I use a shortcode to display a link to the cart, it still redirects to:

http://mysite.co.uk/management/?page_id=214&regevent_action=show_shopping_cart

The shortcode I’m using is:

[ESPRESSO_CART_LINK event_id="50" anchor="Register for This Event"]

Hi Alex,

It sounds like when the site was moved the url’s in the database were not updated to reflect the new URL structure. We recommend using a plugin like WP Migrate DB, which allows you to export the database and update the URLs at the same time.

The only thing that changed when the site went live was the site URL, the location of WordPress has remained the same (in the mysite.com/management directory), so as far as I can see, there is nothing to change in the database.

Is there a specific row in the database where the cart URL is stored that I could change manually?

The website url is located in the following tables (yours may not be prefixed with wp_)

wp_events_attendee_meta
wp_events_detail
wp_options
wp_postmeta
wp_posts
