We’ve updated to the latest EE3 plugin 3.1.37.0.P, and the cart functionality is causing a problem. If you add an item to the cart, it will appear in the cart as before, if you were to remove the event, and then select another event, the old previous event is still appearing in the cart, instead of the new event that you just tried to add the cart to purchase.
There aren’t any problems with hosting according to Hostgator, and we’ve added the permissions and roles, so some of the events don’t have any user as the owner. Is that an issue?
Any ideas please, as we’ve had to freeze anyone from trying to purchase anymore tickets while we get this resolved.
Is it best to rollback the site from a backup that we have?
Hi, sporadic issues with the shopping cart can be caused by caching plugins as WordPress can still cache even if those plugins have been temporarily deactivated.
Were you recently using something like WP Super Cache or W3 Total Cache?
