Hello!

I see this incomplete thread asking about cart abandonment emails which was a feature being worked on in 2017.

Is this still a thing?

I would love to have an automated cart abandonment email that sends a message 12-24 hours after no activity on the cart.

Please let me know if this is something I can do now,, or if there is something in the works, or if the work on cart abandonment emails has been abandoned.

Hi Daniel.

There is no official cart abandonment feature/email. Apparently that didn’t happen according to plan. But as mentioned in that other thread, there is an easy workaround. Navigate to the Event Espresso > Transactions > Incomplete Transactions screen. Then use the envelope icon to send the individual a Payment Reminder email. That can be used for cart abandonment. Also, you can modify the Payment Reminder email template to your liking.
