Cant add new countries to dropdown list

When I go to Event Expresso > General Settings > Countries > and select a country, like Mexico, it doesn’t change any of the fields or show the Mexico states, it continues to show USA.
The database doesnt have any states other than USA and Canada.
If I select Mexico again and change to Show in dropdown to Yes, then it adds it to the list but it has all USA states for Mexico.
What am I doing wrong?
Event Expresso is on v 4.9.78

Hi,

It sounds like there may be a JavaScript error on the page. Can you check the console for errors?

You could also install the Health Check plugin to help troubleshoot this. After the plugin is activated you go to WP → Dashboard → Heath Check → Troubleshooting. There you’ll Enable Troubleshooting Mode, then once that’s activated you’ll reactivate Event Espresso only via the Health Check’s Troubleshooting item in the WordPress Dashboard. At that point, can you check to see if the issue persists?

Absolutely correct. There was a javascript error from another plugin. I deactivated that plugin and everything worked normally. Thank you for the great suggestion.
