can't access attendees on Mobile after changes to event update

If there’s an update/change to a single event AFTER some have purchased – it LOCKS them and creates a NEW ticket for new registrations… however, when checking in with the mobile app, those that are locked out do NOT show up on the attendees list.

example: we had 250 tickets for sale… after we sold about 100 of them we made some changes to the event and saved changes. We noticed the sold tickets then turned grey and new tickets were available with the remaining 150. When it came time to check in – there were only 150 attendees and the 100 were NOT accessible on the mobile app. To make things worse, when we updated it further to say we were SOLD OUT – NONE of the attendees were accessible on the night of the event (we used a laptop to checkin – took far too long!!)

Please advise on what I’m missing or need to do to be able to access ALL attendees regardless of event updates/changes.

Hi Jef,

I’m afraid this is a known bug with the mobile apps, and there’s an open ticket assigned to a developer to fix this. As it stands right now the only way to avoid this issue is:
Instead of changing the price of an existing ticket, you actually start a new ticket and then you change the older ticket’s sale end date to end now.

ok… so did that and maybe I didn’t understand. I created new tickets (on the same event) and changed the sell until date to about an hour ago.

When I click “update” – the tickets turned grey and locked.

Then I checked on the mobile app and it says “Warning! There are NO attendees for the selected datetime.”

I sold 140 seats and have another 140 seats that will sell. I will be pressed for time at check in (about 20 min to check them all in with 2 workers).

HELP!

Those 140 tickets disappeared from the mobile attendees but are still on the “registration” on my desktop. I’d like them to be accessed on the mobile.

one more thing…

I did the same thing again with a different event (because I NEED to make some changes) and ONE of the two tickets LOCKED and turned grey. the other one stayed as is and was able to stay active (even though it’s not for sale anymore).

the 17 admissions on the ticket that DIDN’T lock ARE available on the mobile app – however, the 60+ for the other ticket don’t show up and are not available on the mobile.

I’m sorry. I’m afraid there’s not much we can do about the mobile apps for you until the mobile apps get fixed.
