I just purchased the everything bundle and installed the core into my staging environment. I am using godaddy, one of the largest managed word press hosting providers on the planet.
After downloading and installing EE-4 core and connecting it to paypal express with API credentials, I created a test event.
The event page displays. Upon trying to select and then register for an event I encounter a completely blank registration page.
After f**ing around I discovered that parts of your system are incompatible with godaddy, one of the largest managed WP providers on the planet.
I removed the caching from all pages on the website in staging and production, since your software can’t just disable caching for your pages.
It had no effect. I still have a blank registration screen.
It turns out that we actually added an option that’s made for server environments where you’ll see a blank screen during registration. You can go to Event Espresso > General Settings > Admin Options and set Encode Session Data? to Yes.
You’ll need to clear your browser’s session after changing this setting. Or you can open a private browsing window if you use Firefox or an incognito window if you use the Chrome browser.
