September 29, 2016 at 12:11 pm I no longer have a WYSIWYG to edit my upcoming events. I also do not have the option to move the event to draft for editing. Can someone please advise? |
September 29, 2016 at 12:14 pm The WYSIWYG editor should work in that version, unless there’s a theme or plugin conflict. You can rule out a potential theme or plugin conflict by following these steps: |

September 29, 2016 at 12:22 pm I tested with the default 2016 theme and I still do not get the event editing window in the Admin side. I have not tried the plugin conflict yet. I will follow up once I do. |

I have done the trouble shooting for the plugins and I am still not getting an edit window. Do you have any other advice? Anything else I can check? |
Hello, How was Event Espresso updated? For example, did you one-click through the WP dashboard? I see that you tried this out on defaults. Could you deactivate and remove the current version of Event Espresso 4 decaf from your site? Then search for Event Espresso 4 decaf and re-install it. Please let us know if that helps with the issue. — |

We upgraded using the WP Admin one-click. I will download a new copy and re-install. Update coming soon. |

I just deleted and then reinstalled the plugin and I still cannot edit events. No edit window. Please help! |
Can you check the browser’s console for JavaScript errors? Also, it may help if you can clear your browser’s cache. |

Here is the error console from the admin screen: TypeError: jQuery(…).sortable is not a function |
September 30, 2016 at 10:36 am That error would usually get triggered by a theme or another plugin. Do yo have the current version of WordPress on that site? |

September 30, 2016 at 11:52 am I didn’t ask if your plugins and themes are up to date. I asked if you have the current version of WordPress itself. Is that up to date? |

September 30, 2016 at 12:12 pm Did you try clearing your browser’s cache, or even try another browser like Firefox or Chrome? There should be no reason to see that error unless there’s another plugin like Yoast SEO activated. |

Josh, Thanks, |
Which version of WordPress are you using at the moment? |
