Hi – I imagine that i am like many facing the option of cancelling an entire event due to COVID. As this will also include refunding, via Paypal, people who have actually paid in Feb 2020, are the any recommended steps / sequence etc ?
I checked PayPal’s documentation about refunds and it mentions that refunds can be issued within 180 days. After 180 days following the date of the payment, they advise to use the Send & Request feature of your PayPal account.
After the refunds are sent, you can cancel the registrations and/or event within your site’s Event Espresso admin.
