I want to sell tickets to an event that also has a tribute book. Do you have a function that would allow me to sell ads in the tribute book at the same time as the ticket is purchased?
The purchaser might, for example, want two tickets to the event, plus a 1/2-page ad. So I’d need to show several ad sizes/prices, as well as the ability to buy more than one ticket.
(Another, less desirable, option would be to make the ad sales a completely separate transaction, possibly directly in PayPal. I could link to it from the confirmation form that follows the ticket purchase.)
Currently we do not have ‘add-ons’ as such. We have a beta Add-on for Event Espresso called the Price Modifier Add-on but this adds values to each ticket currently, not a single amount to the total.
What you could do is use the Multi Event Registration Add-on (adds a cart like feature) and create the ‘adds’ as another ticket type, so say in your example you could have a ticket type ‘General Admission’, and then your adds (1/2 Page Add, Full Page Add, Multi Page Add) all as tickets.
The user could then add the event to the cart and add these tickets as adds. http://d.pr/i/MXbZ
The only issue that comes from this is that those extra tickets need attendee information and will be added as an attendee (so the registration above count as 3 attendees). This information can be copied from the first ticket but it will look like this: http://d.pr/i/YTuC
The information from the top registration is copied to the second using the dropdown.
