Ive install the event calendar. Did the setting and nothing is showing in the page http://infidelityrecoveryinstitute.com/test-event-calendar-page/ Any advice? Thanks |
Hi Savannah, The page that you shared appears to be hidden behind a login page. Could you double-check that you are using a matching version of the calendar with your version of Event Espresso? For example: Event Espresso 4 needs the EE4 calendar and the EE3 Calendar needs Event Espresso 3. — |

Hi No. You dont need to login to see the content.. I put the shortcode for the event calendar on that page and showing nothing. Im using ee3 Listed are the plugins i installed Thanks |

Hi Savannah, Your site has a JavaScript error and as the Calendar is JavaScript based, this error is stopping things from happening. This seems to be coming from a script that has something to do with a slider. http://take.ms/EWb6G Once this error is fixed, I am pretty sure the calendar will start functioning again, but if it doesn’t please get back in touch. |

Hi We removed the script and still no luck Whats next? |
Hello, What is the shortcode that is being used on that page? Could you install the theme testdrive plugin and then enable any of the default WordPress themes and try to view your site? The theme testdrive plugin will allow site admins to view the site in a specific theme while visitors see the original theme. — |

Hi It seems working on other default theme. Any advice how i can make it work in my custom theme? Any code i can check out or delete, plugins to disable? Thanks |
|
Is there a php code we can use to post the calendar> |
Hi Savannah, The Calendar itself is Javascript based, whichever way it is called will results in Javascript being output. If your theme supports it you could try wrapping the [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR] shortcode within [raw][/raw] tags, so the page would contain something similar to: [raw][ESPRESSO_CALENDAR][/raw] Although there are various reasons in which that may not work, its worth a try. |
|
You Could also try enabling WP_Debug and see if any errors are thrown within that page. Instructions are available here: |
|
|
Hi Tried [raw][ESPRESSO_CALENDAR][/raw] still no luck also enable wp debug but no errors appeared Whats our next step? Sav |

The plugins javascript file espresso_calendar.js is not being loaded. Doe the theme have the wp_footer hook in it? http://codex.wordpress.org/Plugin_API/Action_Reference/wp_footer If not that will need to be added. |

Hey all, I seem to be running into a similar problem. Unfortunately I am not quite as tech-savvy to follow exactly the steps you seem to have taken in trying to resolve the issue. The Calendar page on our website will not open up fully, after adding events, they seem to appear simply as listed items scattered through our site, without being centralized in the actual calendar page. Several of the smaller addons we purchased with our small business bundle are also not able to activate, not sure if something might be connected there. If you would not mind taking a look and getting back, that’d be great. We just purchased this system Yesterday and it seems to be more trouble than it was worth at this point. Here is a link to our page, the calendar should be showing up under the events link at the top on the options bar of the page: http://www.justliquid.ca/blog/ |
Hi Rob, Althought your issue may be similar, I suspect the cause is different. To help keep the threads easier to follow could we continue to troubleshoot within you original thread please: |
