Calendar Not Displaying

Hi – I’m having problems with the page that we are using the calendar on not displaying at all (the page comes up entirely blank.) We are using:

WP 3.5.1
EE 3.1.32.2
EE Calendar 2.0.6.2

The page in question is skillforge.com/course-schedule. The only option we have to fix the problem is to enable database throttling, which causes other issues. Using the highest setting we can use, and still have the calendar display, is “Medium-High” – however this results in the calendar only displaying about 75% of the events we have running on any given day. Setting it to “High” causes the calendar page to display the error: Fatal error: Unknown: Cannot use output buffering in output buffering display handlers in Unknown on line 0. And, as I mentioned, setting it to “All” or turning throttling off causes the page to hang, or display entirely blank. We do have a lot of events (some days 10-14 a day) and I could understand if the calendar was slow in displaying, but I don’t understand why it would not show up at all, or display an error message. Is there anything else we can do to get it to display all records (even if it’s slow?) Thanks!

Hello,

I am getting the following error on that page, http://d.pr/i/U550

It is related to a different plugin.

You could try upping your memory allocation in the wp-config.php – http://codex.wordpress.org/Editing_wp-config.php#Increasing_memory_allocated_to_PHP

From your description it sounds like you need to add more memory allocation. What server type are you using ? (shared,/vps/dedicated)

Hi Dean – we are using a VPS with Hostgator.

I just upped the memory and that did the trick. Thanks Dean.
