Multi-day events and multi-day events that extend from one week into the other on the month view of calendar on our website are displaying incorrectly. We are using the Calendar Version 2.2.3. Please see our site for reference and let us know the fix.

Hi,

If the calendar in question is here http://www.genevakayak.com/calendar/, then it is not showing due to a JavaScript error.

It appears that you have minified the JavaScript files possibly? At least something is very strange as they are all comma separated.

If the JavaScript files are minified, sometimes this messes things up as the load order is not correct. So I would recommend pulling the event espresso files out of the minification process.

If you have not minified the files then you will need to examine your site further to find out what is occurring.

Please note you may want to check the site while logged out, as I think some plugins don’t minify if you are logged in.

I’m not sure this is the problem. I had a similar issue last year:

https://eventespresso.com/topic/event-displaying-on-incorrect-date-on-calendar-calendar-display-issues/

For quite a while the calendar has been stable and minify-cation has been active on the site for the past year. However, this issue re-occurred with the latest update.

Did you refresh the minified files/cache after update? Could be we changed something file wise so now it’s trying to find the old stuff.

If in doubt make sure EE files are not minified.

OK. I’m an amateur so I don’t know how to parse out the EE files from Better WP Minify Plugin. However, I disabled the plug-in and cleared the cache from my Super Cache plugin and now the multi-day events are displaying properly – sort of.

I’ve now lost my color coding of events and all events are the same color. Fix?

Hi David,

The newer calendar has new settings for the category colors, so you will need to go into the Calendar settings and update the settings for the Categories and Category CSS.
