Is there a way to add calendar buttons to the event and/or the event registration approved email so participants can add it directly to their Google or iCal?
We don’t have an option to include a link directly for Google Calendar, but you can include a link to the ICS file for the event in the emails.
Here are the steps:
1) you go to Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message Templates, find the ‘Registration Approved’ email and click on the ‘Edit Recipient’ link.
2) Then, in the Message Template, you scroll down to the
[DATETIME_LIST] section, and add this short code to the message where you want the Add to Calendar link to appear: [ICAL_LINK_*]
