I have my events set up. I was running through it as a test, and when I choose to purchase more than one ticket for an event it sends me straight to the checkout/select your purchase option without filling in the attendant information. I have the events set up so the information i am asking for is under the personal information tab. Also, when i tried on my phone (which is a major way our clients choose to register) to register 3 people it took me to a page that says “nothing in your event queue” Any suggestions on whats going on? |
It sounds like your hitting a cache of some sort. Are you running any caching plugins? Does your host run server side caching? Who is your host? Can you link us to one of the events so we can test this please? |

Only plugins I have active are EE4 and then the theme came with a couple automatically: Godaddy Quick Setup and WP101 Video Tutorials are active right now the other two are not. Godaddy is our host. http://ciaapproach.com/raising-the-standards-through-chapter-books-the-c-i-a-approach/ |
Looks like your using GoDaddy Managed WordPress hosting. With that package all pages of your site a cached server side without the use of any plugins you can view on the site. This can be disabled via FTP or if needed you can contact GoGaddy support to do this for your, take a look at this post for more info: https://eventespresso.com/topic/incompatible-with-godaddy-managed-wordpress-hosting/ Once caching has been disabled that should allow your registrations to work. |

I did that. Now after choosing even 1 ticket the same address has: Checkout |
Can you contact someone from Godaddy Pro and ask them to verify that caching has been deactivated? The reason I ask is the http headers on your site still indicate there’s caching going on. |

I spoke with GoDaddy. Will the registration work after the cacheing is disabled? I’m in a spot where I’m going to have to move my files to a new server in order to disable the cacheing. I don’t want to go that route unless it will absolutely work after that. Our 30 day trial with EE4 is almost up so I need to figure out if this will ultimately work or if we should pursue getting a refund and try something else. |
Hi, disabling the caching is the recommendation that we received from Godaddy. Once the object-cache.php is removed, then it will not be added again. — |

I did that and now my registrations are worse off. The server I have this domain on can’t disable cacheing because its shared so I’ll need to move it over to a new server where they can be disabled. What I’m asking is if after I do this will my registrations work – is the cacheing the ultimate problem – or should I just get my EE4 refund? |
Hi, the caching is causing the issues that you are seeing. I do recommend asking Godaddy to relocate your site as the caching is causing an issue on your site. And we’ll follow up with Godaddy support regarding their recommendation. Can you confirm that you removed the object-cache.php file already from the site and that has not helped? — |

Yes, I have deleted the object-cache.php file. Before I did this one person could register. After deleting that no one is able to register. |
When you contact Godaddy support, see if they can check with Mendel. Mendel said he’d jump in and help sort this out. |
