Bug? Unable to add Locale/Region in EE

I am setting up event venues and I see a link directing me to add locale so that the venue can be assigned to the locale/region.

“You have not created any locales yet. To create Locales please visit Manage Locales/Regions page.”

The problem is that when I click on the Manage locale/region link, I get the error below:

“You do not have sufficient permissions to access this page.”

The Locales/Regions management needs to be done by the site Admin, not by one of the regional managers. Once the Admin sets up a Locale they can then edit the regional manager to assign one or more locales to the regional manager. You can then add new venues as the regional manager to one of the locales that you have been assigned.

I am logged in as the super admin, and getting this error.

I assume this is a multisite installation? Are Event Espresso and the role and permissions plugins network activated? If so, please activate them on a site by site basis and see if this resolves the issue (in general EE cannot be network activated).

This is a single site installation. The error came up when I was setting up the event venues.

Hi,

Thanks for the clarification. Is this admin the original admin (user id 1) set up by WordPress or is it a new user?

Also, please advise which version of Roles and Permissions Basic and Roles and Permissions Pro you are using.

Thanks.
