Hi, Before I purchase this event management system I have a question. I am using this system so that people can offer seminars trough my website. And others can book them. (B2C) The seminars are offered by different users and some of them also have locations that they would like to offer for booking (apart from the seminars, so when they are not using their location for a seminar) So do you have an option that a location can also be booked by a consumer? Thanks in advance, Yasmina |
Hi there Yasmina, Event Espresso does not currently work well as an event marketplace since it cannot direct funds for payments to multiple merchant accounts. If you won’t need to distribute payments to the event admins (event authors), then it may work for your project. There isn’t specifically a feature for bookings / appointments. However, a separate event could be created to handle reservations for the location. — |

Hi Lorenzo, Thank you for your reply. All the payments will be made directly to our platform (1 bank account number) Our admin will transfer that to the multiple merchants after an event has taken place. Im curious though. Can I get to see which events have been sold so that we can make the payment transfers to the right merchants? Another question about the location; so what I understand from you is that an location can not be booked separately. When I would make an event to handle reservations for the location, does that mean that the merchant will always have to have a date on which the merchant is making the location available for booking? Or can a customer make a request for a certain date before they can book?, and how does the booking proces work then? 3d question: Is it possible for our clients to pay with Ideal? 4th question: Can a merchant show a slideshow of pictures of his/her event or venue ? Last question: Can I as an administrator select a couple of default ticket types that I give the merchant acces to? Or does the merchant always have the same rights if it comes to creating a ticket type? Oh and the last last Question :): Is it possible to make an event and if I get a booking from a group (say 10) that there are no single registrants possible? Even if I had put the maximum on 15. I hope to hear fast from you since we are on a deadline for this project. Kind regards Yasmina |
Hi, Event Espresso 3 does not have a native bookings or appointment feature. Here is the workaround that may work for you: An event would need to be created for each date that the location is available. Then an interested party could register for the event to reserve that location for a certain date. There is an attendee list screen that will show you attendees/registrants for a specific event. This can be exported and then opened into a program like Numbers, Excel, or Google Spreadsheets. Event Espresso 3 supports payments via iDeal Mollie: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/payment-settings-ee3/#iDEAL There isn’t a built in slideshow feature. However, this could be accomplished by uploading multiple images (static images) through the event editor or running a “do shortcode” for a slideshow plugin in the template that loads the information for the single event page. By default, a user role of administrator will have access to all areas of Event Espresso 3. If you use the Roles and Permissions add-on, then additional user roles will be created. One of them is event manager which is a restricted use role that has access to its own events. For example, if you had event manager A1 and event manager B2, then they would only be able to access their own event information. Yes, if you are using the multiple event registration add-on you could set Event Espresso 3 to allow group registrations and then use some jQuery to remove certain quantity options. That would prevent an attendee from registering for a single registration. Let us know if we can answer any other questions for you. — |
