I have tried ‘resetting’ the templates by dragging them to inactive and back to active, and the emails must be there as sending a test from the right sidebar works as expected and the emails are correctly populated. Any help would be appreciated, this is not what I expect from a commercial plugin.
May I ask are you using the mail server that’s built into your hosting account, or are you using a transactional email service from one of the providers listed here?
We’re using Mailgun and their plugin, I have now resolved the issue by resetting the templates multiple times – very frustrating that I don’t know exactly what the cause of the issue was!
We now have another issue unfortunately regarding the Paypal IPN, we’re getting this message in the log:
IPN Validation failed! Paypal responded with ‘ Internal Server Error Internal Server Error – Read The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. Reference #3.4b6cd417.1455295895.debf214 ‘
Do you know at which end of the system this problem is happening? Payments are going through fine but the IPN is not marking conferences as booked. We have to set the IPN URL in Paypal to Memberpress’ because we get more transactions on that side, but your code (and theirs) should send through the IPN with each transaction to override it.
