Hi

I read in Smashing magazine that your plugin and the WordPress template Eventure was a good combination (http://wp.smashingmagazine.com/2012/04/05/manage-events-like-pro-with-wordpress)

I run an events site with loads of events which are uploaded by different venues, venues which celebrate and sell tickets for regular events, one time events, seminars, workshops, gatherings, festivals…

We currently have an Events WordPress template installed (not plugin but a whole template).

If I buy Event Espresso, do I need to buy also a WordPress template to run it?

If so, what are the best compatible WordPress templates to run your plugin?

Thanks,

Mj

Hi Maria,

You do not need a specific “event” theme to run Event Espresso. It will work with most themes.

However we do recommend making sure that the theme is compliant with WordPress coding standards.

As such we tend to recommend the larger names in the industry such as Woothemes, Templatic, Themify etc.

We have a list of known conflicts here: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/known-third-party-plugin-theme-conflicts/#themes
