In either version (and if so which one) I have a membership platform of three different levels (each level allows them to attend more and more of the events – one level is certain events only (but 12 annually in total, while the top level allows them to attend all events currently – is there a mechanism to associate there profiles with these credentials so that when they register for the events that are “free” as a member they are auto discounted? Is there a way to create a secondary payment- like a service fee that is an add on to the ticket cost – for example ticket is $40 plus $5 service charge = $45 – similar to how eventbrite structures its pricing? Why is version 4 less expensive? How much will use of other gateway providers be when available or will some be included in version 4 such as FirstData? |

Hi,
I assume you mean some sort of affiliate system? If so, then there is nothing built into the plugin right now. With EE4 you may be able to use a third party affiliate plugin, BUT we have not tested this, so we cannot guarantee it.
EE3 has the WP USer Integration add on, that allows discounts for logged in users. However it cannot differentiate between user roles/levels.
Both EE3 and EE4 allow for surcharges to be added to ticket costs.
EE4 is in public beta, so does not have any add ons available for it, and is still being tested. As such we discounted the price heavily, so that early adopters can get their hands on it.
We are currently working on expanding EE4’s available gateways but we cannot comment on when or which ones will be included. I hope that helps, but please let me know if you have any further questions. |
