We have a four day conference we would like to scan each person’s name badge at the beginning and end of day. This is in order to track the attendance of each delegate as they are awarded CPD points for the time attended. Is it possible in any way to have a different time stamp logged and recorded every time they are scanned or is it only possible to check in (or out) once for the event?
That’s actually the default behavior. Each time you scan a valid ticket, EE will log the timestamp of the scan. The timestamp logs for each event can be viewed by going to Event Espresso > Registrations > Event Check-in, then select an event. Then if you click on the timestamp listed with registration, you’ll see a list of all of the timestamps.
In addition to the above, you can add this code snippet to your website and the check-in/check-out timestamps will be included in the CSV report:
