I am using the Avada theme and event espresso to list available classes. When viewing the event detail page, the theme header is not showing. If I assign it to the events content type in the Avada Layout Builder the header still doesn’t show and then the event information repeats in the page. How can I get the header to show on individual event pages. See a sample page of the in development site:
Officially Event Espresso does not support page builders, however, that doesn’t mean it can’t work with them.
The image in the header on that page is using an IP address which doesn’t resolve for me, so is it the image not loading or the heard itself?
Avada does some ‘strange’ things to get the layout templates working but I worked with another user reporting a similar issue to create a snippet that should fix this if it’s the same issue, the previous thread is here:
Thanks. I am waiting on sftp access to add the custom functions but I notice in the referenced post that the site header is showing on the event page. I have tried every option within the layout builder to assign a header to the event content type without success. Is the event template a specific content / template that I would need to address in a different way? The footer works when assigned in the layout builder without issue but the header doesn’t show at all and just repeats the event information.

Sorry but I’m not sure I follow.
Can you add a screenshot of the layout you have now?
