Dear all,
is there an option for automatically send the generated invoices via mail to the registrant and the events admin in addition to download?

Hi Malte,
Not currently, you can include a link to the Invoice but not the Invoice PDF itself.
EE does not support adding attachments and/or embedding Invoices/Tickets/etc within the email itself.

That’s a pity….how can I add the link to the invoice within the custom confirmation email? Is there a short code available?

Sure there is.
You’ve mentioned custom confirmation email, so I’m assuming you are using a ‘custom template’?
Which specific message type are you wanting to add the Invoice to? Registration Approved?

You’re most welcome.
Just for any future readers of this thread, the message system shows all of the shortcodes available within each individual section of the template editor if you click the icon.
You’ll also find help text for each shortcode in the help tab at the top of the page (Tab at the top right under the admin bar)
