Hi guys, This site has been up and running for over a year and everything was working great. However, the last few weeks the email system is not sending the automated messages. I use the plugin “WP Mail SMTP” with Sendgrid. I have not changed any settings in Event Espresso and email addresses have not changed. When I “Send a Test Email” from Event Espesso I get the following error: Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function get() on null in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/eea-pricing/EE_Pricing.class.php:134 Stack trace: #0 /var/www/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(287): EE_Pricing->fun_override_pricing_option_in_email(‘ Thanks for your help, |

Hi Wayne, The error you are getting above is from a 3rd part add-on, the Price Modifier Add-on to be specific and likely means it is not set up to handle the test data when parsing shortcodes. First, are you using the latest version of that add-on? — Next, when you say the emails aren’t working, what happens? (yes I know, you aren’t getting the emails 🙂 ) Do you see them in Event Espresso -> Messages? If so what colour status bar do they have? (The coloured bar to the left of each message). Are they green (meaning they sent) or something else? To test your emails create a dummy registration on the event and answer the questions as if you were a user, when you get to the payment options you can select an offline payment method to finalize or close the page. Now you’ll have a ‘real’ registration within Event Espresso that you can use to trigger emails but changing the registration status to see if they work. |
