Wordpress 3.9.1
EE3, calendar-pr, custom templates, members, multiple, price modifier-pr, recurring, ticketing
New Installation

I am using event espresso to sell a book on the site so people can purchase the book alongside registering for a course. I used the price modifier to charge for shipping. The price calculates correctly although it shows it as a negative discount (which is another problem) and the confirmation page and invoice all display the correct price but the charge to authorize.net completely disregards the added amount.

So the price of the book is $52.95, international shipping is +$7, invoice shows $59.95, charge on account is $52.95.

Should I be setting it up differently?

Hi Emma,

What amount does it show for the payment record for the registrant/attendee in the WordPress admin?

It shows the original ticket price as $52.95 and the amount owed as $59.95.

Hi, could you browse to this link:

http://icmhq.com/registration-cancelled/

Then try another registration?

Hi Lorenzo,

I went to the link tried another registration. The same thing happened…Payment page said $59.95, Confirmation email says $59.95, Admin panel says total amount owed $59.95, but my credit card only has $52.95 as a pending charge.

Thanks,

Emma

Hi,

The price modifier addon isn’t currently compatible with the multiple event registration addon:

https://eventespresso.com/wiki/espresso-price-modifier/

Add the international postage option as a third pricing option. It will then appear in the shopping cart for that event.

The issue with that is that will cause us to have six different pricing options. Have you seen anyone effectively charge for shipping?

Okay I have created 33 different pricing options (it’s not pretty but it will get the job done). Is there anyway to remove the date from one event? Since this is technically on an event…

Thanks!

Copy registration_page.php and registration_page_display.php from plugins/event-espresso/templates to uploads/espresso/templates.
Then you can take out the sections you want. I believe it is in registration_page_display.php at line 158.
