While I was able to add the Access payment plugin in my local development environment when I add it to our stage server I get the following fatal error. Latest version of EE and the Access plugin

I believe this was some kind of configuration issue on my part. When I pulled the production site to a local dev environment I was not able to reproduce this error.
Do you have code on the staging site to prevent core/plugin/theme updates?
