While I was able to add the Access payment plugin in my local development environment when I add it to our stage server I get the following fatal error. Latest version of EE and the Access plugin

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Attempt to modify property “response” on bool in /nas/content/live/nefuturereadev/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/third_party_libs/pue/pue-client.php:1786 Stack trace: #0 /nas/content/live/nefuturereadev/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(309): PluginUpdateEngineChecker->injectUpdate(false) #1 /nas/content/live/nefuturereadev/wp-includes/plugin.php(189): WP_Hook->apply_filters(false, Array) #2 /nas/content/live/nefuturereadev/wp-includes/option.php(1957): apply_filters(‘site_transient_…’, false, ‘update_plugins’) #3 /nas/content/live/nefuturereadev/wp-includes/update.php(780): get_site_transient(‘update_plugins’) #4 /nas/content/live/nefuturereadev/wp-admin/menu.php(33): wp_get_update_data() #5 /nas/content/live/nefuturereadev/wp-admin/admin.php(158): require(‘/nas/content/li…’) #6 {main} thrown in /nas/content/live/nefuturereadev/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/core/third_party_libs/pue/pue-client.php on line 1786

I believe this was some kind of configuration issue on my part. When I pulled the production site to a local dev environment I was not able to reproduce this error.
