We’d like to be able to manually mark in the CMS whether the registered delegate (user) has attended the event or not. We do not want to use the ticketing add-on as we use different software for tickets and event organisation. All we need is that after the event, one of our staff logins to the CMS and marks each of the registered users of a particular event with the status: Attended, Cancelled, No Show, Approved, Denied, Pending etc.

Does the standard EventEspresso plugin out of the box allows us to do that (btw, we do not want to share this data with the user, it’s for admin purposes only.)

Hi Ilona,

Event Espresso doesn’t do this out of the box, it would required the Ticketing add on to do, which sounds like it would be overkill for your needs.

Therefore it would have to be custom built, either by us, your developer or a recommended developer.

However, version 4.0 which we are currently working on, does have a manual check in process, built into the core plugin. It currently only has 2 options: checked in or not checked in.

Hi Dean,

thank you for getting back to me so quickly.

When is version 4.0 coming out?
Is there a list of planned future releases with dates available somewhere on your website?

Thanks,
Ilona

Version 4.0 is in Alpha testing right now. We hope to have a Beta out for testing within a month.
