Hello, When I change a registration from “approved” to any other state different from “approved” …. By accessing the link to see the ticket you can see it. This is not correct. The page should return an error message that the requested ticket is no longer valid. Same problem is reflected in a multiple registration. If I change the status (from approved to any other state different from “approved”) of one of registrations …. if the primary registrant access to the summary of the tickets….he will still see all tickets of all attendees. I think it is not correct because it should only see those remaining “approved” |
Hi there, Would it be possible to share a few screen shots of the situation? I just want to make sure we’re on the page. |

for example if from administration I change a registration from APPROVED to CANCELED for example …below the ticket public url of a canceled registrations |
Yes its normal and yes it has been implemented this way. The ticket itself is not secret, it’s a reference to a registration, nothing more. A user holding a ticket does NOT mean that ticket is valid, why? Because tickets can be copied and passed around to other users, there is nothing we can do to prevent that with this type of system. However when you are given a ticket you scan the ticket correct? So when you scan the ticket the registration details will be pulled from the site when attempting to check the user in, if the status is anything other than ‘Approved’ that check-in will fail. The admin can force a check-in on the registration at that point if the wish but that would be a decision from the admin. You can change the Ticket URL that is sent to the user to only show ‘Approved’ registrations. Go to: Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default Message Templates -> Ticket Notice. Edit the registrant context, switch to text mode and find the Swap that out for |

ALL CLEAR! |
You’re most welcome 🙂 |
