For our latest events, clicking ‘View Transaction Invoice’ does not generate a complete invoice. The attendee information is missing, only their name and country appears. all missing. Also, When I view the Invoice template, the information is pulling through, but not for the actual registrant’s. Can you please offer any insight on this? |

Hi there, Can you link me to an event I can register onto to view this? If you don’t have an offline payment method active that I can use to finalize the registration without payment, then please also provide a link to a test invoice/receipt I can view the problem on. |

Ok, so the registration for the Invoice you linked above does not have the Address information questions filled in, it does have the Billing Address info included, but have you edited the invoice to display the answers to your custom ‘Billing Address’ questions? |

Thanks – we haven’t changed the invoice but from what you’re saying – we need to update the invoice to include the custom “Billing Address” fields. Is this possible? |

Yes it is. If you go to Event Espresso -> Messages -> Default message templates -> Invoice You’ll find a ‘bill to’ section in the main content like this:
These shortcodes:
Pull their values from the default address system question questions, so you’ll need to swap them out and use the ‘[PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_*]’ shortcode to pull the answer for your custom questions. To do that you use: [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_*{question text}] So Swap out each of the above shortcodes for your custom question and the Invoice should pull the correct details for you. |
