FYI – line 46 of the espresso_import.php file should read as follows:

                <li>The file name should be attendees.csv in order for it to work. I will fix this issue later, I just wanted to get this working first.</li>

Currently it says the filename should be events.csv, and that causes the upload to fail. Thanks!

Thanks for letting us know, that obviously slipped past us. I’ll get a ticket raised to look into it.
