Hi,
I am wondering if there is a way of applying a percentage promotional code to just the ticket price, and not the surcharge as well.

Hi Nick,
Currently there isn’t a way around it that I can see. This will be rectified in 4.0 where discounts and surcharges can be ordered so one can be applied before another.

You might be able to do something with the hook, ‘action_hook_espresso_save_attendee_data’, but it might be pretty involved. You would need a developer to write a function to take the event id, price option, and coupon code and do a recalculation of the final price and save it to the db.
