My user has multiple (like 100’s) of events per day they are managing. The calendar view looks horrible. Is there any way to limit the view to like 5 events with a “see more”?

Hi Chris,
Not really no, the calendar wasn’t designed for 100’s of events per day, so it shows all the events.
One alternative, is to only show the day on the calendar using
[ESPRESSO_CALENDAR cal_view="basicDay"] (or agendaDay)
instead of the default calendar shortcode.
On some investigation, the calendar we have used as a base for ours (fullcalendar) has had a community provided fork to provide a “View More” button. The code can be found here https://github.com/lyconic/fullcalendar/tree/view-more/src/viewmore but it will still need some work to include it. I will be passing this onto our devs for perusal as well.

Okay, I’ve pulled their js. Can you give me some clue as to where the scripts you use to generate a calendar are so that I might modify?

Hi Chris,
The calendar files and scripts are all located in the calendar add on directory wp-content/plugins/espresso-calendar.
