Just updated EE4 and now cannot access WP Admin. Getting the following error message:

An error occurred. No Class name was specified while registering an autoloader. EEH_Autoloader – register_autoloader – 109

Current WP version is 4.0
Current EE is 4.3.2.p with Calendar 3.1.0.p

Hi,

Can you try re-installing the plugin? You will need to access your site via FTP and delete or rename the Event Espresso plugin folder to deactivate it. Then reinstall via the usual way (download from your account and Plugins > Add New >Upload).

I am having the same issue. I’ve done as you have requested, and on reinstallation of EE4.3, I get the same error each time.

Hi there,

Can you give us a list of active WP plugins and let us know which version of PHP is running on your server so we can investigate?

Sorry for the delay… client craziness and shenanigans ensued following the post. Tried Dean’s suggestion to no avail. Did however find a weird workaround. Renamed the EE folder to deactivate it, went into the back of the site and correctly deactivated the calendar plugin. Renamed the EE folder to proper name and Activated it in back of the site. Then reactivated the calendar. Problem solved. For some weird reason it just would break every time we tried updating as long as the calendar plugin was active.

Just installed the latest EE update and tried activating while calendar still active with same results as before. Deactivated calendar, activated EE, then reactivated calendar, viola!

Strange stuff indeed

Very odd. I ran some offline tests and couldn’t replicate this. I’m glad you found a workaround, though I’d be interested in finding the root cause.

Have you tried re-installing the calendar addon?
