I am using Event Espresso version 3.1.26 I am having a problem when 2 attendees register for an event, the amount being charged to Authorize.net is correct. However the amount being stored in the system and what is being generated on their tickets/confirmation emails is double. The website is ModernismWeek.com |
ADDITION: Also I have additional attendees being registered for their tickets. It seems that this could be causing the issue? We really need to have each ticket registered to the individual attendee, and have the tickets display the proper purchase amount. |

Hello Joshua, I assume you are talking about group registrations. If so, yes it is correct that the tickets show the total price of the group ticket. You could turn off the group registration and force each registrant to sign up individually. |

September 10, 2012 at 11:49 am Hi Dean. Perhaps I didn’t state it clear enough. The amount being shown is double the group price. If the tickets are $50 each and 2 people are registered. The tickets and confirmation emails should state $100 total. However the tickets and confirmation state $200 total. It’s as if because 2 people are being registered, the group totals are being applied to each registered member. Please advise. |
Which event are you referring to specifically? On the front-end when I prepare to checkout it seems to be calculating correctly for two registrations: http://www.screencast.com/t/DnARDBBOKM Or is there a setting/message in the confirmation email? |

Hi Garth, Incorrect Amounts: |
Joshua — Do you have anything in your |
No, there’s nothing in that directory. |
Joshua, I have seen this happen when using Facebook and Twitter plugins, because they reload the page in the background, therefore doubling the price by the time it gets to the payment gateway. |
I have disabled the Social Media plugin for EE. We’ll see if the problem continues. I’m testing now. |
September 12, 2012 at 12:29 am Thanks Joshua. Please let us know what you find out. |

We’ve had a few tickets sold in pairs and the prices are now showing correctly. Perhaps the Social Media plugin should be fixed or at least new users warned that it can cause the amounts to double. Thanks for the help though. I’m glad it was a simple fix. It’s working famously other than this little hiccup. |

We still have the Social Media plugin disabled and we are still getting some events that are being recorded as double in the table “wp1_events_attendee” in the column “amount_pd” The amounts are being charged correctly through the payment gateway but this is causing concern to a lot of our customers and I am having to go in and manually edit this column daily. Can you please advise? |
i’ve the same problem, any advise? |
I just updated to the newest version of EE, 3.0.27 Is there any way we could please have someone look into this problem. |
Hi Joshua, Ive raised a ticket to get one of the devs to look into this, we will get back to you |
@Dean in the Codebase ticket you said you cannot recreate this issue. @Joshua do you have any other social media plugins installed? Does your theme connect to Facebook or Twitter? |
@Joshua another thing. Have you tried temporarily switching themes to see if that fixes the problem? |
@Seth, that’s correct I could not reproduce this issue. |
