Hi guys,
We have a shortcode that has stopped working since v4…
[ESPRESSO_VENUE show_title=”false” show_address=”false” show_map_image=”false”]
This was in the event description, as most of the content is pulled from the venue page.
What is the EE4 equivalent of this?

Hi Simon,
It turns out that venue information is built into the ee4 templates. So if you go to Event Espresso > General Settings > in the Templates and Google maps tab settings, you can toggle venue info and maps to display/not display.

I did see this option, but it doesn’t pull in the main text description… Take a look, this is with all options set to yes:

Hi Simon,
That information is shown on the single venues page. Try entering some text in the venue excerpt area and let me know what happens.

Besides, excerpt doesn’t allow styling or paragraphs etc does it?

A little follow up on this: It’s been fixed in Event Espresso 4.4 which was released today.
