I set my settings like this for one of our events, and the page gets stuck on a gear on the page like this: http://screencast.com/t/FKO4zYQJUz
What could I be doing wrong here? I took a look at the source and it seemed like a form was posting to the page, so it should be working it seems. It did not matter if the event was public or not.
Any clues?

It looks like this is an issue when using the alt registration page setting with the Multi Event Registration (MER) add-on.
I have created a ticket for our developers investigate this, currently you can not use the alt registration page feature whilst using MER.

Hi there,
You can avoid the spinning gear error by setting the display ticket selector setting to No for that event.

That is true, but then there is no button to take them to the alternate registration page. So it appears that the ticket selector is needed to take the user to the alternate page.

Not necessarily. You can also place a link to the alternate page in the Event’s description.

Hi there,
The issue you reported about the button for the Alternative Registration page was fixed and the fix was included in the Event Espresso 4.8.33.p and Multi Event Registration 2.0.9.p releases. You’ll need to update both to get the fix.
