Hi Shelly,
The ways to reduce that could include: 1) Deactivate categories, 2) Deactivate tooltips and/or 3) Deactivate expired events.
I followed up with you in your other support topic about this:

It looks like the calendar is still loading the expired events. If you remove the expired events, and add the script from that other topic that adds events with no tickets on sale at the moment, your calendar should be much quicker.

Yesterday when I took a look the page was loading expired events, and it was much slower then. You’ll notice the page is slower if show_expired=false is removed.
You’ll also notice that if you remove other items (tooltips, categories, and so on) the calendar will load even faster.
