Hi, during testing the checkout the Stripe gateway Pay Now button is disabled after a card is declined. After adding a new card that’s valid the Pay Now button is still disabled and doesn’t allow the user to click the Pay Now button.
Which version number of the Stripe payment method add-on are you testing?
Are you testing the Stripe checkout (legacy) or Elements integration?
I’ve just run a test on an event with the site linked to your license but it doesn’t look like the Stripe PM is enabled any more, can you temporarily enable it so I can take a look?
@Josh do you know when the next version will be released? We are in a tough spot as our current payment processor is closing and we are wanting to replace it with Stripe.
The next version will be released after:
1) The developer assigned to the ticket related to this issue finishes with the ticket
2) The ticket is tested and all tests pass
I can’t give you a date and time of a projected release date, because it could take hours or days for the above two items to be completed.
In the meantime, you could switch to the Stripe Integration Type: “Checkout” setting (in your site’s Event Espresso > Payment methods setting page). The Checkout API handles card declines different so it isn’t affected by the current issue with the Stripe gateway.
The latest version of the Stripe add-on (1.1.8.p) was released today, and it includes a fix for the issue you reported here.
