Hello, |
Hi there, Are you using the advanced payment option to gauge if the event is going to be going ahead? You can have the user register onto an ‘advanced payment’ ticket which has the price set as the fixed fee amount and then move them onto the ‘full price’ ticket using the Attendee Mover Add-on after they have done this. The original payment for the first ticket will then apply towards the price of the new ticket you moved them onto. This allows users to pay using the EE payment methods and although you will need to ‘move’ every registration onto the full price ticket will require less admin work than the other option which would be to register onto the full ticket and make a payment outside of EE, which the admin then needs to manually apply to the transaction as EE doesn’t support ‘partial payment’ on the front end. |

Hello Tony, I do understand we need to install additional addon Attendee Mover so that we can move simply and manually each user registration between 2 different event or between 2 different ticket price inside the same event, am I right ? |
Correct. So, in this case, you’d have 2 tickets on an event, one the ‘lower’ price and the other the ‘full’ price. Have the users register onto the ‘lower’ price ticket and then move those registrations onto the ‘full’ price ticket.
The notification is only sent if ‘Trigger Notifications’ is set to Yes when you move the attendee, thats enabled by default but just to clarify, you can disable that email if needed. The user will receive a ‘Pending Payment’ email which shows their registration is pending payment, that email has a link that will take the user to the payment options step in the checkout and they will see their ‘previous’ payment applies there, like this – https://monosnap.com/file/rwXWkHo0ttsmQKwHb2UZ1hxOOrfKOT Is that what you are looking for? |
