Hi, after upgrading to 4.6, required Reg Form questions are now required for the Admin. Previously, an administrator could register for an event and enter whatever information they felt like. This behavior is preferable for us, because we use admin registrations frequently to give complimentary tickets to people whom we don’t know the Reg Form details for.
Please restore the old behavior or make it optional. THanks
We want consistency between the registration checkout process for the front-end and the WP dashboard. If a question is required on the front-end, then it should also be required in the WP dashboard.
I understand, but I just want you to consider our use case.
We use admin registration to process free tickets–we don’t offer free tickets to customers. When doling out free tickets, we need to track them, but we don’t have customer information. Our registration questions, however, ask for customer information such as what grade their student is enrolled in. It doesn’t make sense for us to enter this information.
