Admin Receiving Duplicate Emails Notifications for Approved Registrations.

We are still recieving these.

In the Approved Registrations in the EE Messages section there is are 2 Registrant types:

Recipients: Event Admin |
Primary Registrant |
Registrant
__________________________

It appears that EE4 is sending emails to our admin email from both Registrant types after a successful Registration. I setup 2 different formats for each type and receive them both.

The other message templates do not have the extra “Registrant” type.

Each email has a different ID number in my outgoing email log

Can I somehow turn off the email notifications for the secong “Registrant” template?

Yes, you set the To: field for the Registrant template to be blank.

Yes, I had deleted that and still seems to happen…

Do you have any plugins set up to cc: all emails sent from WordPress to the admin?

or

Is the email being routed through a gmail account where these messages are set to forward to the inbox?

Admin emails arrive direct from our site.

I use WP SMTP as the only email affected plugin.

That might be it then. I wonder if you were to switch to use a transaction email service if that’d fix the issue for you.
