I had thought that the Event Registration Form would pick up the user’s address info and pre-populate the fields. But that doesn’t seem to be happening.
Does it need to have a user register for an event first so it can tie the EE user to the WP user?
Or do I need to update a setting? (I do have the sync users set to yes)
If they’ve not registered before, or their current contact information in Event Espresso > Registrations > Contact List doesn’t have address information, then there isn’t address info to pull from. Any other fields added to a user profile will not automatically pre-populate to the EE registration form.
Also, Address fields are not typically used for user-based registrations, but if you’re going to ask for address information everytime they register for an event, you can add the following code into a functions plugin installed on your site:
You can add the above to a functions plugin, then activate the plugin.
