Hi! I am running into an issue where if i log into the backend of the site and go to a particular user to look at their information and update a additional question field it will not update my ticket.
For example: a user had added a additional address but they added it all lower case. So i then looked at it and fixed it but it wont update the actual ticket.
In this case we’ll probably need temporary admin access to troubleshoot this. Can you send that information, along with the registration ID, via the secure form on this page:
OK here’s why the additional questions are not being updated on tickets: The additional questions for additional registrants are not being printed on the tickets. Here’s the shortcode from that’s in the ticket template: [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_*Mailing Address for your license]
Since it’s the primary registrant answer shortcode, all tickets in the same transaction will use the address entered for the primary registrant. In this case with Registration IDs 429-436, all 8 tickets will print the address from REG ID 429.
There are two approaches you could take to fix this:
1) Edit the address for REG ID 429
and/or
2) Go in to edit the ticket template (In Event Espresso > Messages > Default Message Templates) and change [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_ANSWER_*Mailing Address for your license]
to [RECIPIENT_ANSWER_*Mailing Address for your license]
