Dear support,
i would like to show the venue name and the event location in the archive list of events. They should appear just below the date and time.

Any pointers in the right direction.
I suppose i should reuse content-espresso_events-venues.php in the child theme and change where necessary?

If you make edits to content-espresso_events-venues.php then that may affect the display anywhere that template is used. Have you tried simply changing the settings in Event Espresso > Events > Templates and setting the Venue info to display on the Event Listings page?
